Harry's Makes More Than Just Razors

I would bet that most people have at least heard of Harry’s, if not tried their razors. (If you haven’t, you can pick up a trial set here for only $8.) But the company that became known as an affordable alternative to drugstore staple brands has been expanding its skincare line over the last few years, and I’ve been impressed with a few of their products.

Face Lotion

A summer necessity, this hydrating face lotion has SPF 15 to protect you from the sun, and mint to give you an invigorating pick-me-up in the morning. It’s lightweight and dries incredibly quickly, so it won’t leave your skin feeling greasy. I use it whenever I know I’m going to be out in the sun for any length of time, and it has a permanent spot in my dopp kit when I’m away from home.

Post-Shave Balm

Nobody likes razor burn. The aloe and cucumber in this formula helps relieve the pain of shaving, and like the face lotion, absorbs quickly and won’t make your skin feel greasy. I have fairly sensitive skin, and I’ve tried a number of post-shave products at a variety of price points. I find myself reaching for this one more often than not.

Face Wash

As I mentioned above, my skin can be a bit fussy. I generally stick to an all-natural face wash at around $25 a bottle. I recently ran out, and picked up a bottle of Harry’s to get me though until my restock arrived. I have been pleasantly surprised by how great my skin feels after using this formula with peppermint and volcanic rock, which exfoliates the skin and tilts this product more toward a scrub than a true face wash. Will it replace the more expensive version in my shower? Probably not. But it is the best face wash you can pick up at your local Target.
