Trusco Boxes Are A Stylish Way To Organize Your Desk, Home, Or Car

When I was growing up, my parents and I lived in a small town four hours or so across the state of Nebraska from the rest of our family. We made frequent trips to visit, and it became a tradition for my grandma to hand me a “survival kit" as I was on the way out the door to head back home. These kits were usually filled with beef jerky, cheese crackers, granola bars, and maybe a piece of candy or two.

With nothing but a portable CD player to entertain myself in the back seat, I spent a lot of time daydreaming about adventures that might actually require a survival kit. I have no doubt that the nostalgia of these kits informs my current interest in EDC, and my love of planning and packing for trips.

That's where Trusco comes in. I stumbled across this Japanese company when Gear Patrol featured one of their full-size toolboxes. I was immediately drawn to their smaller boxes, the T-150 and T-190. These boxes are both great for small storage around the house or office, but can also hold some essential tools and live under the front seat of your car just in case.

These boxes are definitely a step up from the Ziploc bags of my childhood.
